At the entrance of the Volcanic Natural Park of Auvergne, the
Tournoël Castle, situated on a rough volcanic flow, is dominating
the Limagne Plain It is an admirable medieval fortress which recounts the
life of a fortified castle behind its surrounding walls of stone,
visit of the kitchens and the lady of the castle’s gardens. The
big donjon, 32 meters high, offers a beautiful view over the
Limagne Plain until the Forez Mountains. |
